Cutting Objects

Cutting is another way to remove objects from a LanFlow diagram. Unlike delete, a copy of the deleted objects is first saved in the Windows clipboard. You can later Paste these objects back into the diagram or even into a different LanFlow diagram.

As a rule of thumb, use Delete to remove objects permanently, and use Cut to remove objects from one location and Paste them to another location.

To cut objects from a diagram

  1. Select the objects you want to cut.
  2. Choose Cut from the Edit menu or press CTRL-X on the keyboard.
Like Delete, when you Cut selected objects, additional objects may be cut automatically.

Cut or copied objects remain in the clipboard until you cut or copy more objects, leave Windows, turn off your computer, or cut or copy to the clipboard from another program.
